If you'd like to view your Contacts data in third-party software like Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets, you can easily export your data into a CSV file.

How to export Contact details to CSV

  1. Log in to your Givebutter Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the TRACK tab in the left-hand menu and click on CONTACTS.

  3. If you’d like to add filters to the data or only export a specific segment, select that now.

  4. Click the ACTIONS button.

  5. Choose either "Active" or "Archived" contacts.

  6. Click EXPORT.

  7. Click EXPORT again in the popup.

  8. Your report will be sent to your email. In the email, click the DOWNLOAD button or copy and paste the provided link into your browser. This email link is good for 48 hours.

βœ… Pro tip: For security purposes, you must be logged in to Givebutter to view/download your CSV. If you're having trouble downloading your link, make sure you are logged in using the same web browser you requested the report from. Sometimes email clients will redirect you to a different browser, which will cause download issues.

If you're not receiving your report, search your ALL MAIL box for [email protected], and make sure that email address is whitelisted for your account so the export emails don't get blocked.

The Contacts CSV file export contains the following information:
