These updates enhance how donors interact with your campaigns, making it easier than ever to boost your fundraising results. The new donation flow for Pages includes overall design improvements, alongside several exciting updates.
Dynamic donation amounts ๐ค
With the new donation flow, you can now set different suggested donation amounts for Page campaigns based on whether a supporter chooses a one-time or recurring donation option (monthly, quarterly, or yearly). For example, you can suggest lower amount options for monthly recurring donations ($10, $25, $50) compared to one-time donations ($50, $100, $250).
To configure custom suggested amounts:
Navigate to your Page campaign's Tools tab
Under Donation settings, you'll now see separate sections for each donation frequency
Set custom amounts and descriptions for each frequency type
Save your changes
Match calculator ๐งฎ
The new matching donation calculator helps donors visualize the impact of their contribution when matched by another donor or organization. When a donor selects an amount, they'll see the total impact, including the match. This powerful visual motivator can significantly increase donation amounts!

Team member selection ๐ฅ
For campaigns with multi-team or peer-to-peer fundraising enabled, we've improved how donors credit teams and team members with their donations. This feature automatically appears on Page campaigns with team fundraising enabled. The new dropdown selector makes it easier for donors to:
Search for a specific team or team member
See hierarchical organization (teams and their members)
Credit the right fundraiser with their donation
Recurring donation upsell ๐ฐ
We've enhanced our recurring donation upsell feature to match the successful implementation with Forms campaigns. After a donor selects a one-time donation, they'll see a streamlined prompt encouraging them to convert to a monthly supporter. This improved interface has been shown to increase recurring donation conversions. To enable this option:
Navigate to your Page campaign's Tools tab.
Under Donation settings, ensure the monthly frequency option is enabled. You can also enable additional frequencies.
The upsell will automatically appear when a donor selects a one-time donation.
Payment method selection ๐ณ
We've updated and streamlined our payment method selection to an accordion-style interface that's cleaner and more intuitive for donors. This update applies automatically to all Page campaigns once Beta access is enabled. Benefits of the new payment method accordion include:
Cleaner visual organization of payment options
Better mobile experience
Faster checkout process
Improved visibility of all available payment methods
All relevant payment methods will appear in your campaign's checkout process as applicable, but you can also manually enable or disable specific payment methods if you prefer.
Company contributions ๐ข
Now donors can easily indicate when they're making a contribution on behalf of a company or organization. This feature makes corporate giving more straightforward and helps organizations properly attribute business contributions.
When a donor checks the "This contribution is on behalf of a company" option in the payment summary screen, they'll see a field to enter their company name. This feature is automatically available in the new donation flow and requires no additional configuration.
Transactions submitted on behalf of a company are still logged as individual contacts, rather than company contacts. You can optionally convert a contact to a company after a transaction has been made.

Will these changes affect my existing Page campaigns?
Yes โย once you enable Beta access, all of your Page campaigns will use the new donation flow. The changes only affect the checkout experience. Your campaign content and settings will remain the same.

โDo I need to update my campaign settings to use the new features?
Some features, like dynamic donation amounts, will require you to update your campaign settings if you want to set different suggested amounts. Others, like the improved payment method selection, will apply automatically.

โCan I switch back to the old donation flow if needed?
Yes, you can opt out of the Beta program at any time by turning off the Early Access Beta toggle in your Settings > Organization Profile settings.

How to enable Early Access Beta โก๏ธ
In the menu on your Givebutter dashboard, click on Settings, then click About.
Click on Organization Profile, and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Under Beta Access, enable the toggle.
You can opt out of our Beta program at any time in your dashboard.
