Where to access outbound message statistics
First, head to Engage, located in the left-hand menu bar of your Givebutter Dashboard.
This will take you to your MESSAGE HISTORY. Under the SENT tab, click the "V" icon on the right-hand side for the message you'd like to see statistics for.
Detailed metrics for the message will appear below.
Interpreting outbound message statistics
For emails:
📫 Opened: Number and percentage of recipients who opened the message successfully.
❗️Bounced: Number and percentage of recipients who the message could not reach because of an invalid email address or some other issue.
❌ Unsubscribed: Number and percentage of recipients who unsubscribed to your email messages using the "Unsubscribe here" option at the bottom of all email blasts.
You can view additional data about your emails by clicking CONTACT LIST under the "To" field.
⏎ Unopened: The email was successfully delivered but the recipient did not open it.
☑️ Clicked: Individuals who clicked on a link provided in your email.
💵 Supported: Individuals who donated by following a link provided in your email.
For SMS:
❗️Bounced: Number and percentage of recipients who the message could not reach because of an invalid phone number or some other issue. Click CONTACT LIST under the "To" field to see more information.
📫 Delivered: Number and percentage of recipients who received the message successfully.
❌ Unsubscribed: Number and percentage of recipients who unsubscribed to your SMS messages by texting STOP to opt out.
You can view additional data about your SMS messages by clicking CONTACT LIST under the "To" field.
☑️ Clicked: Individuals who clicked on a link provided in your SMS.
💵 Supported: Individuals who donated by following a link provided in your SMS.
✅ Pro tip: If the outgoing message was sent over 14 days ago, use the Refresh buttons from the ACTIONS menu to see the latest statistics.
