Engage automatically keeps track of your outbound message statistics so you can see who has opened your messages, unsubscribed, or successfully submitted a transaction as a result of your communications.
Viewing message data 👀
You can find your outbound message stats in your Givebutter dashboard. First, head to Engage, located in the left-hand menu bar.
Under the Sent tab, click on the message you want to view outbound statistics for.
Message stats 📈
After a message has been opened, you'll see the total number of contacts it was sent to, the message information, and boxes containing delivery and revenue data.
Revenue Generated – How much revenue was generated as a direct result of an outbound email or SMS.
Open Rate – Percentage and number of recipients who opened the message successfully.
Click to Open Rate –
Bounces – Percentage and number of recipients the message could not reach because of an invalid email address/phone number, or some other issue.
Emails resulting in a "hard bounce" are automatically marked as unsubscribed by our system. (Undeliverable SMS messages do not affect SMS subscription status.)
Unsubscribe – Percentage and number of recipients who unsubscribed to your email messages (using the Unsubscribe here option at the bottom of all emails), or emails that bounced and were automatically unsubscribed by our system.
If the outgoing message was sent over 14 days ago, click Refresh in the upper right for the latest statistics.
Detailed statuses 🗂️

FAQ 🤔
Someone was marked as unsubscribed, but they never received the message!
This is probably because the message also bounced! A bounce will also result in an unsubscribe since the message was marked undeliverable. Please double-check the email address or phone number on file and use an alternative if possible.
Can I export my Engage message statistics?
Not currently – please see the feature request for this option and add a vote if you would like to be able to export your Engage message stats!
What's the difference between Delivered and Sent?
Delivered means that the message has successfully reached the recipient, while Sent means that the process has been initiated, but it might still be in progress. If a message is displaying as Sent, we haven't gotten confirmation that it's been successfully received yet.
What are your deliverability rates?
Our email deliverability rates are 99% for valid email addresses.
