On Givebutter, all payouts made to your bank account are reviewed and manually approved by our fraud and security team. This helps ensure a safe platform for donors. For accounts with a history on Givebutter, and who provide verifiable information about their organization, we may elect to upgrade you to Automated Payouts.

Requirements for Automated Payouts:
In order to be considered for automated payouts, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. At the moment, Automated Payouts are only open to verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits. To become verified, you must go through the Nonprofit verification process outlined here.

  2. Have a bank account linked to your Givebutter account. 

  3. Have completed at least one successful payout. 

Once you meet the above requirements, reach out to our team via live chat or email and request approval for Automated Payouts.

How Automated Payouts work:
When enabled, Automated Payouts are made nightly for all campaigns that have a balance over $100. These payouts do not go through our typical review process, and are therefore processed quicker. 

Note: Automated Payouts does not yet support Chapter or beneficiary campaign payouts. These types of payouts will still need to be made manually.
