Unpublish an auction πŸ”’

If no bids have been made, you can unpublished an auction to remove it from your campaign page. Unpublishing an auction will remove the Overview and Auction tabs from the top of your campaign page, and the auction will no longer be visible.

  • Go to the campaign manager for the relevant campaign, and click the Auction tab located in the menu near the top of the page.

  • Under Date & Time, you'll see a toggle for publishing the auction.

  • Click the toggle to turn it off.

If the toggle is grayed out, or you're unable to click it, you cannot unpublish this auction due to existing bids or purchases.

Instead of unpublishing it, you can cancel it instead.

Canceling an auction 🚫

If bids have been made, you can cancel the auction, but you won't be able to delete it. Canceling an auction cancels all active and upcoming items. Items that have ended and have a winning bid will be marked as won and will still require fulfillment.

Canceling an auction will not remove the Overview and Auction tabs from the top of your campaign.

  • Go to the campaign's Auctions tab. The page will default to the Auction Settings sub-menu.

  • Scroll down to the section called Registration, and click Cancel Auction.

  • Confirm by clicking the Cancel Auction button in the popup.

  • The Auction tab will remain active in your dashboard, and you will still have Overview and Auction tabs visible on your campaign page. You will not be able to add another auction to this campaign.

Want to delete your entire campaign? Campaigns with cancelled auctions can be deleted, provided that they have not processed any transactions (including offline or test transactions).

Item statuses πŸ›οΈ

Items without winning bids (or items that hadn't ended yet) will be located on the auction's Items tab. Their status will change to Auction canceled, and bidders will not be charged – the items remain unsold.

Items that had ended and had a winning bid will appear on the auction's Winning Bids tab. These Items still need to be fulfilled, or shipped.

Deleting an auction πŸ—‘οΈ

You can only delete an auction if no bids have been made on any items. If you delete the auction, all items will be removed from your dashboard, and the Overview and Auction tabs on your campaign page will disappear.

  • Go to the campaign's Auctions tab. The page will default to the Auction Settings sub-menu.

  • Scroll down to the section called Registration, and click Delete Auction.

  • Confirm by clicking the Delete Auction button in the popup.

Don't see the Delete Auction button? This is because bids have been placed on at least one item. You won't be able to remove the auction entirely, but you can cancel your auction instead.
