Hey Changemaker! πŸ‘‹ Before we get started, if you are closing your campaign because you had a bad experience and/or will be using another platform, please reach out to us first! We would love to learn more about your fundraising efforts and how we can help or improve.

Closing a campaign that has received payments

Stop accepting payments ❌

This option disables the payment button on your campaign, so no new transactions can be processed.

Form campaigns will no longer be accessible. Page and Event campaigns will remain visible, but the payment button will be disabled. Auction pages will remain visible, and a banner will say "This auction has ended".

  • In your Dashboard, select your campaign from the list in the left-hand sidebar.

    • If you don't see it, click All Campaigns to get the full list.

πŸ‘‰ Note: Turning off new payments will not affect existing recurring donations – these will continue to process as normal.

Set an end date ⏰

If you're looking to close your campaign at a specific point in the future, you can set an end date. Once the end date passes, your campaign will automatically stop accepting payments, if you have configured it to do so.

For all campaigns:

  • In your Dashboard, select your campaign from the list in the left-hand sidebar.

    • If you don't see it, click All Campaigns to get the full list.

For Event campaigns, you can set two different end dates:

⛔️ Warning: Campaign end dates always override Event end dates. If your campaign end date is before your Event end date, new payments will be switched off.

For Auctions, you can set multiple end dates:

πŸ‘‰ Note: You can edit Auction start and end dates after the Auction has started, even if bids have already been placed.

If you'd like to hide your campaign from public view, you can unlist your campaign so only those who have the link can access it. You can either keep accepting donations, or switch off payments in addition.

  • In your Dashboard, select your campaign from the list in the left-hand sidebar.

    • If you don't see it, click All Campaigns to get the full list.
