What can I raise money for? 💰

You can raise funds for anything that doesn't go against our terms of service. Givebutter users have fundraised for all kinds of good causes – from ending homelessness to fashion shows for kids with cancer. Individuals cannot create their own fundraising accounts or campaigns on Givebutter. Individuals can donate to an organization already using Givebutter or join an existing fundraiser as a team member.

Can international organizations use Givebutter?

International organizations can use Givebutter if they meet specific requirements, including having a US bank account. Givebutter mainly works with organizations that are based in the US or have a US presence. International donors are able to submit donations to any Givebutter campaign using their desired payment method.

Can I create an account if I don't work for an organization or nonprofit?

Individual fundraising is not supported on Givebutter, and will put your account at risk of being deactivated. Please review our content guidelines for common questions about specific fundraising scenarios.
