Peer-to-peer fundraising is an effective and fun way to raise money for causes you care about. Raise more for your favorite campaigns by adding photos, a story, and a goal to your personal team member profile. View a sample team member page →

Before you start, you'll need to join the campaign you want to be a team member on! Learn how in our guide

  • Click on the pencil icon to crop or rotate your image if needed.

  • A window called My Fundraising Page will appear, with several tabs at the top.

Edit Page ✍️

Any changes you make here will appear on your public team member page.

  • Display Name – Edit how your name is displayed on the public campaign page.

  • Fundraising Goal – Set or edit an optional (personal) fundraising goal.

  • My Story – Write a bio for your page, including images, links, and video.

Concerned about typos? Our built-in spellcheck tool prevents errors across all text editor locations in Givebutter.

  • Leave Campaign – Leave the campaign and remove your profile. This will not delete your personal login, it just removes you from this specific campaign.

Did you know that you can also share the campaign from the public campaign page? Make sure you're on your personal team member URL (the URL should have your name or team name at the end of it), and click Share Fundraiser.

On the popup, you can copy your URL, share your page on social media, or email your link directly to others.

Invite Donors ✉️

Invite people to support your cause and credit your team member profile!

  • If you enter an email, the person will receive a standardized email.

  • If you enter a phone number, they will receive a text message.

Once you've invited someone, three reminders will be sent (at 24-hour intervals, ie. one reminder per day for three days), and their information will appear under Previous Requests. If they donate, the icon next to their name will display as a green checkmark.

What's my team member page URL? 🔎

You can find your personal team member web address in a few different ways.

  • Check your email. Givebutter sends you an email immediately after joining a campaign with your campaign link – easy!

  • Go to the main campaign page, scroll down past the main image, and click on your team member picture. Your personal page web address will show at the top of your browser window.

  • On your user profile, click Edit Profile under your name. Copy your Fundraising URL and add "/yourfundraisingURL" to the end of the main campaign link.

Example: The main campaign is "givebutter.com/coolevent" and our Fundraising URL is "captainbutter", so our full link is "givebutter.com/coolevent/captainbutter"
