As an admin, you can hide a message in the supporter feed on your Page or Event campaign. Hiding a message removes the entire transaction from the supporter feed, including their name, amount donated, and any message or image added. You can also remove the entire feed from your campaign page.

Want to make a donor's post anonymous, without completely removing it? Please send us a message including the transaction reference number, and we can remove their name for you.

Removing a message 🗑️

On your public campaign page, locate the transaction in the supporter feed that you would like to remove.
Click the three dots [...] next to the post and select Hide.

Hiding part of a message ✏️

If you want to hide just a specific portion of a post, please contact us with the reference number of the transaction you wish to unhide, and we can make any necessary changes. The parts of a Supporter Feed post that we can edit (in the instance of a typo, for example) or hide include:

Donor name
Amount donated
Message
Media – images, drawings, and/or GIFs

Hiding the entire supporter feed ❌

If you would like to remove the entire supporter feed from your campaign page, you can do so from your Page or Event campaign's Settings tab. You'll find the option for hiding the supporter feed under the Design heading. This option can be toggled on or off at any time.

Hiding the Show your support option 💬

You can also hide the option for donors to leave a customized message on your campaign. You can do so from your Page or Event campaign's Settings tab. You'll find the option for hiding this step under the Design heading. If enabled, the checkout will be shortened by one step, and the Show your support page will be removed. Please note:

If the supporter feed is hidden and this step is not, donors will still be able to leave personalized messages, but they will only be visible to the organization internally via their dashboard.
If the supporter feed is not hidden and this step is, a donor's full billing name will be displayed on the campaign's public supporter feed. (If a donor chooses to hide their name and donate anonymously, it will not be displayed publicly.)

I accidentally hid a post. How do I make it public again?

If you hide a message, you will not be able to make it public again yourself. Please contact us with the reference number of the transaction you wish to unhide, and we can make it public again! Please also see the feature request for the ability to unhide a post yourself, and add a vote!

Can I make a message in my supporter feed anonymous?

A post will only display as anonymous if the donor selected this option in checkout. If you would like to hide information on a transaction, you can either hide the entire post, or you can ask our team to anonymize the name and/or amount.

Can the supporter feed default to being fully anonymous?
