Givebutter requires all users to verify their email address and phone number to verify their identity and provide utmost security. Click the red banner at the top of your Home screen to get started.
Verifying Your Email Address
To verify your email address, click the [Send Verification Email] button on the Verification page of your Dashboard.
If you haven't received the email after a few minutes, please check your spam folder.
Click the [Verify Email] button in your email to be redirected to your Givebutter dashboard and verify your email address.
If you need to update your email address, either click the [Edit your Email] button or follow the instructions in this guide.
Verifying Your Phone Number
To verify your phone number, click the [Send Text Code] button on the Verification page of your Dashboard.
Note: This should be a personal mobile phone number, rather than an office phone number. Givebutter uses this phone verification process to verify your identity and will, in the future, use your phone for password retrieval (coming soon!)
Enter the 6-digit code to the SMS Code box.
If you need to update your phone number, either click the [Edit your phone number] button or follow the instructions in this guide.
