Register as a bidder 🗳️
On the auction website, click the Register to Bid button.
On the next screen, choose Sign Up to create a new bidder profile for this auction, or Sign In if you've already created a bidder profile.
Note: You will need to register separately for each auction you want to participate in, but if you've already created an auction bidder login on Givebutter, you just need to sign in.
Fill in your details to create a new account or sign in to your existing account.
A verification code will be sent to your email. Enter that 6-digit code into the verification screen or click the Verify Email button in your email.
Note: We need to verify your email so we can make sure you are able to receive notifications about items you bid on.
Set up your bidder profile and enter payment information.
👉 Note: This step will only appear if the auction organizer has required payment details when you register.
Click Save & Continue.
Enter a shipping address and choose auction settings.
Cover Processing Fees: Digital transactions incur a credit card fee of 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. By choosing to cover the processing fee, you guarantee that 100% of your winning bid goes toward the organization
Appear Anonymous: Your name will not be displayed publicly on any of your bids.
Please note that you will not see the option to bid anonymously if this option has been disabled by the auction admin.
Click Complete registration.
Congratulations! 😃 You are now registered as a bidder and can browse items in the Auction you just registered for.
You'll need to register as a bidder for each auction you want to bid in, but you only have to fill out your bidder profile details once! 👍
